Natural Gas
Natural Gas was introduced to the Mildura Region in 1999, in the City of Mildura and the townships of Irymple and Red Cliffs. The system was initially designed to service major industrial and commercial users, and is continually expanding – helping to achieve increased competitiveness and new opportunities. A steel transmission pipeline supplies the region with natural gas sourced from the Cooper Basin in northern South Australia.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS
The Mildura Region is well-serviced by an array of telecommunications providers. CDMA and digital mobile telephone coverage is continually expanding, and the region lays claim to having Australia's first independent hybrid fibre and coaxial (HFC) infrastructure full service telecommunications network (Neighbourhood Cable). The Telstra Country Wide office for North West Victoria is located in Mildura.
